The Xbox team is currently dealing with a number of network issues, affecting players' sign-in, game launch, and ability to join groups.
According to DownDetector, the problems began just before noon today, with over 5,000 user reports of connection issues on Xbox Live.
The Xbox Support team also shared a post on social media, acknowledging the network issues with its community.
“Support teams are currently reviewing the issue and we will provide an update here and on our status page,” he wrote.

On Xbox's official support page, the site confirms that users “may be unable to sign in to their Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signing in, or have other related issues. Features that require signing in like most of games, apps and social activity will be unavailable” due to severe disruptions.

Today's Xbox issues come just one day after PlayStation services were also knocked offline by unknown issues affecting PS5 and PS4 users. These issues have now been resolved on Sony platforms.
