Annapurna’s enchanting Stray will finally make its Switch debut later this year, on November 19th.
While we knew the cat game was coming to Switch courtesy of the Nintendo Direct presentation in June, Annapurna confirmed the release date yesterday, which also happens to be International Cat Day. Meow.
The Kitty Caper, already available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, is a third-person adventure game that was recommended by Eurogamer when it was released two years ago.

In her review of Stray, Lottie said: “Stray captures the essence of being a cat, while offering a deeper journey through a dying cybercity.
“It is by doing this, by seeing the world through the eyes of a feline, that Stray creates a journey filled with such a sense of exploration, as well as the ability to indulge in all the cat-truction you want. But in doing so, it also creates a touching story about the human longings of those who, at first glance, lack humanity, whether that be to reunite with a loved one, protect a community, or reach out to the outside world. The result is a wonderful mix: a game about the desire for freedom, ingenious climbing mechanics, and every cat's eternal desire to knock things off shelves.”
If I'm not mistaken, Stray is becoming an animated film.
The animation division of Annapurna Pictures, which produced DNEG Animation’s recently released film Nimona, is planning a “respectful” adaptation of the fan-favorite feline adventure.
