A hotfix for Fallout: London to address crashing issues is still on the way, and developer Team Folon is planning a “massive” patch to release soon after.

The fan-made mod for Fallout 4 set in the English capital was released in late July, but players have encountered a number of crashes and issues, including Eurogamer's Ian Higton when he streamed his gameplay.

Shortly after, Team Folon promised that a fix was on the way, and in a new statement on their Discord, they reiterated their plans for the future.

“We are absolutely blown away by the incredible community support for our mod. Your enthusiasm and feedback means the world to us!” the announcement reads.

“We have some big plans for the future, starting with a hotfix. This hotfix will address some crashes and include essential systems like 'Buffout 4', which will be merged into the mod itself. We've also identified several other fixes that will provide immediate help. Additionally, we'll be explaining some features we've added that may not have been as helpful as we thought, so stay tuned for details.

“The future is bright! We are already working on a HUGE patch that will fix all the issues reported on our Discord, as well as a multitude of mission and other issues.

“So, the plan is: first a hotfix to stop and fix the crashes, then a major patch.”

For now, the team continues to offer one-on-one troubleshooting sessions for anyone having trouble getting the mod working.

Finally, on Thursday 8th August (tomorrow) at 8pm (UK time), Team Folon will be streaming a developer gameplay session on their Twitch channel, offering a glimpse into the development process.

We also remind you that for the mod to work, players will have to downgrade from the next-gen version of Fallout 4.
